About Incoloy 800/ 800H/ 800HT Pipe & Tube

At Metal Tube Industries, we are one of India’s largest exporters and manufacturers of Inconel 800 Pipes. The high nickel content in alloy 800 seamless pipes makes them highly resistant to chloride ion-induced stress-related corrosion cracking and embrittlement caused by the precipitation of the sigma phase. Therefore, ASTM B407 Incoloy 800HT Hollow Pipes are particularly useful for high-temperature applications, such as those required in the petrochemical industry. Because of the combination of nickel as its primary alloyant and its ability to withstand elevated temperature settings, the Alloy 800H ERW Pipe does not form the embrittling sigma phase, even after prolonged exposure to temperatures high as 1200°F. The Inconel 800h Seamless Pipe is an alloy that has been solution heat treated at a temperature of 2100°F. This carbon-controlled version of its parent alloy, Alloy 800, has improved elevated temperature properties. At temperatures ranging from 1100°F to 1800°F, the alloy 800h pipe demonstrates high creep and stress rupture characteristics. Similar to the H version of the Alloy 800 Pipe, the HT or Alloy 800ht Welded Pipe has a higher aluminum and titanium content. Modifying the alloy 800ht seamless pipe content ranges between 0.85% to 1.20%. This modification results in the optimum high-temperature properties of the newly formed alloy, making the Incoloy 800ht pipe suitable for high-temperature applications.
