About Hastelloy X/ C4/ C22/ C276 Flanges
The 14.5% to 22.5% ratio for the molybdenum and chromium used to make Hastelloy C4 flanges is. It offers excellent resistance to all chemistry and physical qualities. Additionally, it offers excellent defence against reducing and oxidizing chemicals. Due to the production of harmful phases above this temperature, DIN 2.4617 Flanges should not be utilized when temperatures exceed 1250° F. The production of grain-boundary precipitates, typically in the heat-affected weld zone, is known to be resistant to this nickel-based alloy. As a result, UNS N10665 is a suitable alloy that may be utilized in its as-welded state for most chemical process applications.
Hastelloy C22 is solid, flexible, and durable, allowing it to withstand heat and cold pressure for longer. Molybdenum and chromium are combined in these flanges to create a robust material. The excellent characteristics of molybdenum include its high melting point, ductility, tensile solid and yield strengths, etc. However, molybdenum has a modest thermal expansion but a strong thermal conductivity. The grade receives a simultaneous transmission of all these characteristics. These UNS N06022 flanges have a 100000 PSI tensile strength and a 45000 PSI yield strength.
Hastelloy C276 Flanges are constructed from the nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. UNS N10276 Flanges have a high melting point of 1370 degrees Celsius. Their significant melting point enables the higher operating temperatures of the flanges. The material has a minimum yield strength and a tensile strength of 355MPa and 790MPa respectively. High-quality materials create DIN 2.4819 flanges, giving the grade excellent mechanical and physical qualities. These flanges provide the grade with excellent stability, malleability, and ductility.
